As a contractual partner of the Austrian Pension Insurance Institution (PVA), the Leonardo Med Spa Resort offers the Health Prevention Active program (GVA) – a modern prevention program designed to help maintain health, prevent complaints, and strengthen personal performance. At its heart lies the active path to greater wellbeing – physically and mentally.

A Health Care Active (GVA) treatment offers you the opportunity to take an active role in improving your health. The focus is on prevention, recovery, and the long-term promotion of your physical and mental well-being.

If you are covered by the Austrian social security system, you may be eligible to apply for a Health Care Active (GVA) treatment. Whether a stay is suitable for you will be determinedduring a consultation with your general practitioner or a medical specialist.

Your Journey to a Health Stay

1. Following your doctor’s recommendation,

your application will be submitted to your responsible Austrian social insurance provider (please see our partner insurance providers below). You may also indicate your preferred health resort, which will be taken into consideration whenever possible.

2. Once your application has been approved,

you will receive all the essential information regarding your stay, including your arrival date and further organisational details.

3. At the beginning of your stay,

you will undergo a comprehensive medical assessment. Based on this evaluation, an individual therapy and treatment plan will be created and adjusted throughout your stay according to your personal needs.
